The Chugach Gem & Mineral Society, Inc. is for individuals and families interested in mineral collecting and lapidary. The Chugach Gem & Mineral Society, Inc. maintains memberships in the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies and the Northwest Federation of Mineralogical Societies.

Times:

The club s business meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM. (Except December.) All are welcome!

Our monthly potluck starts at 6:30 PM and takes place on the fourth Thursday of each month, except November and December. (The date and time for the Christmas potluck will be announced.) For the potluck, bring a hot dish or salad or desert, a serving spoon, eating utensils, and a plate. For all meetings, bring a rock to show (for example, a mineral, a crystal, or a fossil specimen).

Annual membership fees are:

• Individuals - $20.00; Families (2 or more) - $25.00
• Lifetime membership fees: Individuals - $200.00; Families (2 adults & children under 18) - $250.00
